Fortin Electronics Systems was created in 2004 by a Montreal company specialized in car electronic device and audio distribution. Fortin invented the first CAN module and well deserved the lead of the interface module industry.

Fortin launched the first preloaded bypass module on the market - EVO CHR - in 2009, and in 2010 the famous Fortin Evo All was released. Now it is a fully-loaded interface module that supports standalone functions. Fortin EVO-ONE - the all-in-one module which combines a remote starter and an interface module  - was launched in 2014.
